01 / YOUR CHOICE

Analytics starts on. You can switch it off.

On the public PoolWatch.ai website, Google Analytics is on by default. Use the controls above or in the footer to turn it off or on. The site remains available in either state.

Your choice is saved only in this browser. An OFF choice takes effect immediately for later measurement on the current page. On later pages, the Google tag is not loaded while OFF. Clearing site storage removes the saved choice and restores the ON default.

02 / PUBLIC-SITE MEASUREMENT

Visits and a few public interactions.

PoolWatch uses its own GA4 web stream to understand visits to the home page, Privacy and the interactive public demo. The site explicitly sends one page view per document, a demo-opening signal and a language-change signal. GA4 may also generate its own basic session and engagement signals.

The page location sent by our code contains only the page path, without the language query or a fragment. Referrers are reduced to their origin, or to an allowed PoolWatch page path. We do not send questionnaire contents, answers, contact details, recordings, draft research material or synthetic demo results as custom events.

Opening the demo records an opening action; it does not mean a research project was created. The demo uses illustrative data.

03 / BROWSER STORAGE

One choice, one dedicated GA4 stream.

The ON/OFF setting is kept in this browser under poolwatch:analytics-preference:v1 until you change it or clear site storage. When Analytics is ON, the Google tag can use Analytics cookies, including cookies beginning with _ga. Turning it off removes accessible Analytics cookies on this site and prevents further measurement by this tag.

PoolWatch’s GA4 property retains user and event data for 14 months. The setting does not govern the same way that standard aggregated reports are kept. The public site does not send a PoolWatch account ID or an identified researcher ID to GA4.
